Michael McDonald

Michael joined Landmark in 2019 with more than 20 years of experience in public accounting. He is a senior manager in our tax department and works with individuals and small businesses with an expertise in manufacturing and wholesale companies, C‑corps and S‑corps. Drawing on more than two decades of experience at Arkansas public accounting firms, Michael focuses on practical tax compliance and forward‑looking planning so clients can run their businesses with confidence. Michael grew up in a family business, so he knows the vital role a CPA plays in running a business; it’s also the reason he chose the CPA path.

Away from the office, Michael enjoys woodworking and gardening. A favorite fun fact: as a high‑school project he built a replica of the Arkansas State Capitol, which is still on display in the Capitol rotunda more than 40 years later. He and his wife, Dana, call Little Rock home.
